We require a high powered rifle with a shot behind the ear for the bison.
Skinning, gutting & quartering plus 1 night lodging and use of our cooler for 24 hours included in the price. We require a $500 refundable deposit to hold a spot for you. This also includes one night lodging at the Silver Fox Roadhouse. You make the arrangements with them, 895-4157.
Delta Meat and Sausage (895-4006) will age, cut and wrap and deliver it to Anchorage. We can deliver meat to Delta Meat for no charge unless you prefer to take quarters home with you.
We also offer farm gate sales which means we can sell one animal = one individual. Farm gate sales serves our customers in Alaska very well. We are lifelong Alaskans and understand your desire for quality red meat.
- Travel to Delta Junction via Glenn Highway. Take Richardson Highway.
- Stay on main road traveling through Paxson
- Arriving in Delta take the Y to Tok
Drive the Alcan Highway for about 20 miles passing the Silver Fox Roadhouse and Sawmill Creek Bridge.
Turn left on Sawmill Creek Road (paved road) drive 6 miles until you come to a 200' X 50' brown shop and a blue pole barn. Pull on in and you're here!

Our ranches are located just north of the Alaska Range. We are in the heart of Alaska surrounded by snow-capped mountains.You will be on the road system. You can fly to Anchorage and drive up the highway (about 350 miles) to get a view of Alaska or fly to Fairbanks & drive down from there (about 125 miles).
Bison or Buffalo? It is the same animal. The technical name is "American Bison".
Scott Hollembaek & elk horns.These elk horns are from our friend, Smiley Ford's elk ranch in Canada. We like his stock and Smiley and Shirley are also great folks. We feel that investing in good stock is one way to raise top quality animals as well as satisfy our customers.
